Cervecería del Valle Sagrado

Cervecería del Valle Sagrado opened on 31 October 2014 at Pachar, in the Ollantaytambo district of Cusco, chosen for the Sacred Valley’s scenery and fresh local produce. It won Peru’s first gold at the South Beer Cup in 2015 and was named the best Peruvian craft brewery in 2016 and 2017; it now claims more than 120 medals. It brews with squash and cacao from nearby communities and ages a barrel line in whiskey, port and oak. The core range includes Apu Verónica, a double IPA of 9.6%, Intipunku, an IPA, Dark Charlie, a black IPA, and Doña Elsa, an American wheat. It has taprooms in the valley, in Cusco and in Lima’s Miraflores.
