Ukrainian Wikipedia says the Czech-born brothers Hnat and Frank Albrecht founded the brewery in Radomyshl in 1906 and brewed a Czech-style pilsner; the article’s infobox gives 1886. From 2001 the Kyiv company Ridna Marka made it its main brewery and built a wheat beer plant there. Its Pshenychne Etalon, a weissbier, won gold in the South German-Style Hefeweizen category of the 2004 World Beer Cup, among 56 entries, with two German breweries taking silver and bronze.
