Persha Pryvatna Brovarnia

The Matsola family founded the First Private Brewery in Lviv in 2004. In 2012 it merged with the Radomyshl brewery, and the two plants have run as one business since. In 2013 its Bochkove, a pale lager, became the first Ukrainian beer brewed under licence abroad, in Russia and then Belarus; the brewery ended the licence after Russia annexed Crimea. The range runs from Bochkove to dark lagers and Andriivskyi El, its one top-fermented beer. In Poland the importer Karpaty Trade sells it.
