Browar Grodzisk

The brewery on ul. Poznańska dates from 1880 and was the last of the many breweries in Grodzisk Wielkopolski. Grodziskie was protected as a regional product from 1929 to 1993, when Lech shut the brewery as unprofitable. Fortuna’s owner IBG bought the brewhouse in 2012, and beer from Grodzisk returned in 2015, brewed from wheat malt dried over oak smoke with Grodzisk water and yeast. It is the anchor of the Piwo Grodziskie style.
