La Zaragozana (Ambar)

Aragonese notables founded the brewery in Zaragoza on 10 July 1900 to use the region’s barley, and the German brewer Charles Schlaffer made its first pale and dark beers. The company says its Ambar Sin was Spain’s first alcohol-free beer. It belongs to Grupo Ágora, controlled by the Roehrich family, which also owns Moritz and brews Moritz’s main beers in Zaragoza. Ambar Especial is a lager of 5.2%, brewed with malt, maize and barley.
