Pravda
Pravda opened in Lviv in 2014, with a pub on Rynok Square, and brews about 1.8 million litres a year. It brewed Ukraine’s first wild ale and is known for its labels, Putin Huylo among them. When Russia invaded on 24 February 2022, its brewers finished the brew they had started and switched to Molotov cocktails, more than 2,000 of them. On 8 March they launched #BrewForUkraine, sharing their recipes so that breweries abroad could brew them for charity. Its beers include 100 Rokiv UNR, an imperial stout with smoked pears and prunes, and Zamkova Gora, a Berliner weisse with elderflower. Its Craft Mission bars in Lisbon pour its beer in the EU.
