Brasserie Dunham

Sébastien Gagnon and two partners bought a microbrewery in the village of Dunham, in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, in March 2010. Éloi Deit, a brewer from Montreal’s Le Cheval Blanc, joined in 2012, rewrote the range and is now a co-owner. Dunham made its name with saisons, such as the very dry, bottle-refermented Saison Rustique, and with barrel-aged beers, at its peak keeping more than 200 barrels from Italy, Burgundy and bourbon distilleries. An early black IPA won gold at the Canadian Brewing Awards. It has since moved towards lagers and IPAs and its own beer garden.
