Cervezas Alhambra

Granada investors founded the brewery in 1925, and the chemist Miguel Hernainz created its Reserva 1925. Damm and later Cruzcampo held stakes, and in the mid-2000s Mahou-San Miguel bought it for 200 million euros. Alhambra still brews in Granada and sells most of its beer in eastern Andalusia. The brewery calls Reserva 1925 an amber lager of 6.4%, fermented slowly; Reserva Roja is a beer of bock type.
