Warsteiner

The Cramer family’s brewing begins in 1753, when the farmer Antonius Cramer was first taxed on beer he brewed and sold; Catharina Cramer owns the business today. It concentrated on Pils from 1928, and in 1984 Warsteiner was Germany’s biggest beer brand. In May 2026 the group said it would stop brewing at Herford and sell or close Paderborn by the end of the year, moving those brands to Warstein because Germans are drinking less beer. Its Premium Pilsener is a German Pils.
