Cervecería Transpeninsular

Collin Larry Corrigan, a San Diego native who spent more than 30 years in screen printing across Baja California, and his wife Gabriela Sánchez opened Transpeninsular by the Tijuana–Ensenada road; the brewery dates itself to 2016 and the taproom opened in January 2017. It takes its name from the highway that runs down the peninsula, and names its beers after places along it. Strummer’s, named after Joe Strummer of The Clash, is a Vienna lager and won gold in its category at the 2026 Copa Cervecera del Pacífico; Punta Baja, a light lager, won its class too.
