Reissdorf
The uniform tailor Heinrich Reissdorf founded the brewery on 4 September 1894, and his widow Gertrud ran it from 1901. In 1936 it was the first to bottle Kölsch, and it signed the Kölsch Konvention in 1986. It moved its brewing to Rodenkirchen between 1998 and 2002 and makes only Reissdorf Kölsch, a classic example, and an alcohol-free beer that may not be called Kölsch.
