Brasserie Meteor
The brewery at Hochfelden in Alsace was founded in 1640, took the name Meteor in 1925 and launched Meteor Pils in 1927. It calls itself the last big independent brewery in Alsace and the oldest brewing site in France still at work, and the Haag family runs it. In 2025 it agreed to brew Heineken’s Fischer from 2026.
