La Pirata
Its founders home-brewed in Súria, near Manresa, from 2004 and made their first commercial batch, 500 litres of the IPA Viakrucis, in 2012. They brewed at other breweries until October 2015, when they opened their own in Súria. Black Block is an imperial stout. La Pirata was the Barcelona Beer Challenge’s best brewery in 2019, and the national beer championship named it best brewery in 2015, 2016 and 2025.
