Kinnegar Brewing

Libby Carton and Rick LeVert started Kinnegar on a pilot kit in their back garden in Rathmullan, named it after Kinnegar beach, and moved to a larger brewery in Letterkenny in 2017. They neither filter nor pasteurise their beer. In 2024 Kinnegar brewed 1.5 million litres, about 30% of it Scraggy Bay, an IPA. Crossroads is its West Coast IPA, and Limeburner a Kölsch-style pale ale. Kinnegar and The White Hag also brew the Porterhouse’s flagship beers for its Dublin pubs.
