Birrificio del Forte
Francesco Mancini and his friend Carlo founded the brewery in Versilia on 25 August 2011, and its first four beers, among them Gassa d’Amante, are still its core line. Il Tralcio blends barley wort with wine-grape must, ferments with both a brewing and a wine yeast and is finished by the metodo classico, the method of sparkling wine, with disgorging. The BJCP lists it as a classic Italian Grape Ale, and it won bronze at the European Beer Star in 2022. Saskia is a gose.
