Cervecería Hondureña
The company grew out of a firm founded in the port of La Ceiba to supply water, electricity, ice and soft drinks; it began brewing Salva Vida there in 1916, and the beer is still sold. Cervecería Unión opened in San Pedro Sula in 1928, and the breweries merged over the following decades into one Honduran brewer, completed in 1965. It helped found the Belize Brewing Company in 1969. SABMiller ran it from at least 2002, and AB InBev has owned it since 2016. Its beers include Salva Vida, Port Royal, Imperial and Barena.
