Birra del Borgo
Leonardo Di Vincenzo founded the brewery in 2005 at Borgorose, on the Lazio-Abruzzo border, and it soon had a following at home and abroad. Its Duchessa is a saison brewed with spelt, and ReAle an India pale ale with American hops. AB InBev bought all of it in 2016. In 2022 the group cut 42 of its 72 jobs and closed its restaurants, and on 5 June 2026 the company announced it would stop, after about EUR 22 million of losses. The last 20 staff reached an agreement on 28 September 2026, and the plant was offered for sale.
