Cervejaria Bierland
Bierland, German for beer land, opened in Blumenau in August 2003 and is one of the oldest craft breweries in Santa Catarina’s Vale da Cerveja, the beer valley. It brews about 120,000 litres and has won more than 120 medals. Bierland Blumenau, launched in 2012, reworks the beer brewed by the German immigrants who settled the city in the 19th century. The range also takes in a Pilsen, a Vienna lager, a session IPA and Charlotte, a witbier with lemon and coriander. It sells from a shop at the factory.
