Beamish

Beamish and Crawford began brewing porter in Cork on 17 January 1792, and stayed the largest brewery in Ireland until Guinness overtook it in 1833. Heineken bought it with Scottish & Newcastle in 2008 and closed the brewery in 2009. Beamish stout has come since then from Heineken’s brewery in Cork, the old home of Murphy’s.
