Basqueland Brewing
Two Americans, Kevin Patricio and Ben Rozzi, founded Basqueland in Hernani, near San Sebastián, in 2015. The Barcelona Beer Challenge named it best brewery in 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2026. In April 2025 Hijos de Rivera, the brewer of Estrella Galicia, bought into it; inside.beer reported a majority stake, and the founders stayed in charge. Imparable is a West Coast IPA and Santa Clara a Helles.
