Klosterbrauerei Andechs
Brewing at Andechs is documented from 1455, and the Benedictine Abbey of St. Bonifaz in Munich and Andechs owns the brewery. The monks built a new brewery at the foot of the Holy Mountain from 1972. German Wikipedia calls it the only German monastery brewery that brews bock all year and sells it across the country, and most of its beer is sold outside Andechs. Its Doppelbock Dunkel is a classic doppelbock.
