Amazon Beer
Amazon Beer opened in 2000 in Belém, in the Estação das Docas complex on the Guajará bay, and flavours its beers with Amazonian fruits and herbs. The magazine Prazeres da Mesa named it Brazil’s best brewery in 2012. Stout Açaí uses the palm fruit, IPA Cumaru the tonka-like cumaru seed, and the range also takes in Forest Bacuri, a witbier with taperebá, a red ale with priprioca root and a porter with cupulate, a chocolate made from cupuaçu seeds. Its website no longer answers, so how much it brews in 2026 is unclear.
