Achel
The abbey at Achel, the Achelse Kluis, brewed from 1850; its modern brewery restarted in 1998. When the last two monks left, Achel lost the Authentic Trappist Product label in January 2021, and when the abbey of Westmalle sold the site to the businessman Jan Tormans in 2023, it lost the Trappist name too. Brewing goes on under the new owner, with a tripel, a dubbel and a dark quadrupel among the beers.
