Pivovar Strakonice (Dudák)
The town of Strakonice is the brewery’s only shareholder, and the company carries the year 1649 in its name. Its beers sell as Dudák, among them Dudák Premium, a pale lager of 5%. Klostermann Polotmavý, first brewed in 2008 for the 160th anniversary of the birth of the Šumava writer Karel Klostermann, is a half-dark lager of 12.8° and 5.1%, made from four kinds of malt; the BJCP lists it as a classic example of the style.
