Nymburk (Postřižinské pivo)
The Nymburk brewery opened in 1895. From 1920 to 1948 František Hrabal, father of the writer Bohumil Hrabal, managed it, and Hrabal set his novella Postřižiny here. In 1991 he approved the name Postřižinské pivo for its beers. Francinův ležák, a pale lager of 5%, leads the range.
