Hirter

A tavern at Hirt is first recorded around 1270, and the chain of owners is documented without a gap since 1493; German Wikipedia calls it Austria’s second-oldest existing brewery. It is still family-owned, run in the fifth and sixth generations, and grew with its Pils from the 1960s. It lagers its beer for five weeks to six months.
