Harviestoun
Ken Brooker founded Harviestoun in 1983 in a stone barn near Dollar, and it moved to Alva in 2004. Caledonian bought it in 2006, and when Scottish & Newcastle took over Caledonian in 2008, a group of directors bought Harviestoun back and made it independent. Bitter & Twisted was CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain in 2003, and Ola Dubh is aged in Highland Park whisky casks.
