Galway Bay Brewery

Two Galway publicans started brewing in 2009 in a small brewhouse at The Oslo, their bar in Salthill. Most of the beer sells through the group’s own pubs. Its double IPA Of Foam and Fury was the Irish beer group Beoir’s beer of the year in 2014, and Bay Ale is its Irish red. In 2021 Galway Bay merged with BRÚ Brewery of Trim, County Meath, and both breweries kept brewing.
