Im Füchschen

The plot at Ratinger Straße 28 has been called Im Füchschen since at least 1640, and Füchschen Alt has been sold under that name since 1848. Theodor and Louise König bought the tavern and brewery in 1908; destroyed in the war, it reopened in 1950, and Peter König runs it in the fourth generation. German Wikipedia counts it among only four old Altbier breweries left in Düsseldorf. Füchschen Alt is a classic Altbier.
