Cerveza Patagonia

Patagonia is a premium brand created inside Quilmes, now part of AB InBev. It reached shops in 2007 with one beer, an Amber Lager, and added a Bohemian Pilsener and a Weisse in 2010 and later Küné, a pale ale in returnable bottles. In 2016 Quilmes opened a brewery and bar for it at km 24.7 of the Circuito Chico near Bariloche, beside Lago Moreno, for US$4.5 million, after neighbours objected that the area was zoned for homes and tourism. The bottled and canned beer comes from Quilmes’s industrial plants.
