Bodebrown
Samuel Cavalcanti, a chemist from Pernambuco, and Andrea Cordeiro Pinto founded Bodebrown in Curitiba in 2009. Its brewing school, which Portuguese Wikipedia calls the first in Brazil with regular courses, has trained more than 7,000 brewers. Bodebrown pioneered returnable growlers in Brazil and the Beer Train, a tasting trip on the railway from Curitiba down to Morretes. It is Iron Maiden’s official brewery in Brazil, making Trooper Brasil IPA and, with Bruce Dickinson, Mandrake, an ale with jambu. Perigosa is its imperial IPA and Cacau IPA an American IPA.
