Beck's

Beck’s began on 27 June 1873 as the Kaiserbrauerei Beck & May, founded by the merchant Thomas May, Lüder Rutenberg and the brewmaster Heinrich Beck. A Pilsener-style beer brewed for shipping overseas won gold at the Philadelphia world fair, and the key from Bremen’s coat of arms became its trademark. Interbrew, now AB InBev, bought the brewery in 2002, and Beck’s sells in about 120 countries. It is a German Pils.
